With Casa Santo Stefano, we have fulfilled a long-standing personal wish and found an attitude to life that fulfills us. We want to share this with you. And make our home your retreat.

As the new owners, we, Cristina and Matteo, continue the tradition of Casa Santo Stefano with love and respect. Our Casa is a place of hospitality, mindfulness and inspiration, where we cultivate quality, individuality and a conscious table culture. With our passion for art, good food and yoga, we create a place where our guests can escape from everyday life, find inner balance and encounter the beauty of the Malcantone with open senses. 

We are Cristina and Matteo. We would like to introduce ourselves.

Cristina

I am from the Engadine and have 25 years of experience as a florist, 13 of them in the hotel industry. I used to manage a decoration team and was a floral artist in a renowned Zurich hotel.

In my free time, you can often find me in my home studio, where I immerse myself in the world of ceramics. My everyday life is characterized by a conscious and sustainable lifestyle. I appreciate beautiful things and if you ask me what my favorite color is, it's colorful! Just like my life.

Matteo

Originally from Valposchiavo, I approach life with an open mind and a sense of humor. My professional years in prestigious hotels and restaurants have sharpened my passion for good food. For me, food is more than just nourishment - it is a way to share joy and create community. For many years I have privately followed the path of yoga, a journey that influences my daily life in a meaningful way and provides an inspiring foundation for the direction of our Casa.

Together, we attach great importance to quality, individuality and aesthetics. At Casa Santo Stefano, the focus is not only on lifestyle, but also on personal service that goes far beyond the stay. Table culture plays an important role in our lives, and our love of sustainable food is combined with the joy of entertaining guests, enjoying, experiencing and learning together.
